Production Photography: The Beautiful Future is Coming for Traverse Theatre

I shot production photography for The Beautiful Future Is Coming at the Traverse. Huge thanks to the production team for welcoming me so kindly, and to the Traverse marketing team for having me back to capture this powerful play.

This show by Flora Wilson Brown and directed by Nancy Medina takes us through 250 years of climate history through the eyes of three couples. In 1856 New York Eunice is doing CO₂ research long before anyone takes her seriously. Then in 2027 London Claire and Dan navigate love, flooding heatwaves and environmental collapse. Finally in the year 2100 in Svalbard two scientists are trapped by a massive storm—with questions of motherhood, loss and hope in the balance. 

The play runs at the Traverse Theatre until 24 August 2025.
