I had the pleasure of photographing Jenny Niven, Director of the Edinburgh International Book Festival. The shoot took place at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, the festival’s new home, and the aim was to create a versatile portrait for use across their communications. Jenny was a dream to work with and it was great to have a few hours with her to find locations and the perfect light on location. I just wrapped a studio shoot for She’s Behind You with the Traverse marketing team. I spent a few hours at the National Theatre of Scotland HQ Rockvilla in Glasgow setting up a mobile studio to capture the infinite facial expressions of the hilarious Johnny McKnight. Thanks to Traverse for putting together such a fun commission to make camp and eye catching shots for the Fringe poster.
