Christmas Open House at Sculpture House, Paisley
This shoot really helped me get into the Christmas spirit! I was at the Christmas Open House at Sculpture House in Paisley. If you haven't come across Sculpture House, it's an arts charity founded by artists Laura Aldridge, Nick Evans and James Rigler, based in a converted Victorian villa where a team of seven professional artists' studios sit side by side with free community workshops and creative programmes. It's one of the most joyful, generous places I've ever had the ple

Membership & Legacy Campaign Shoots for National Galleries of Scotland
I recently worked with the National Galleries of Scotland marketing team on two PR photography shoots promoting their Friends membership, Gallery of Stars and legacy giving programmes. For the membership shoot, I photographed models in situations that bring the scheme to life, showing how Friends enjoy benefits like unlimited free entry to exhibitions, discounts in the gallery shops and cafes, and access to exclusive events. These images will be used across the Galleries' mar

Alfred Buckham: Daredevil Photographer — PR Shoot at the Portrait Gallery
I recently shot PR photography for the National Galleries of Scotland at their exhibition Alfred Buckham: Daredevil Photographer at the Portrait Gallery on Queen Street. Buckham was a remarkable figure, a pioneer of aerial photography who captured some of the most iconic images of early 20th century Scotland from the open cockpits of biplanes. He survived nine crashes, had his larynx removed after a serious injury, and still went back up. His darkroom work was equally extrao

Veterans & Artists: The Drive Project with the Royal British Legion
I recently documented a fantastic project for The Royal British Legion and The Drive Project. It involved veterans working with artists Laura Aldridge and Laura Spring to create their own screen printed fabrics and ceramics. The project, called On the Table , was designed to help the Armed Forces community explore creativity in a supportive environment. Participants included veterans, serving personnel and partners or carers. Together they crafted all the accoutrements of a t

I'm delighted to present a trailer I created for the Collective Gallery's exhibition "Acts of Observation." It is a dynamic showcase that spans the entire gallery site, with solo presentations or ‘acts’ in various buildings, spaces, and online. The artists present an array of works, including film, interactive installations, writing, and architectural interven

Collective: Edinburgh's Disgrace Merch
Known locally as ‘Edinburgh’s Disgrace’, the National Monument on Calton Hill was left half-finished when the money ran out. Today it stands as a familiar classical silhouette, forever under construction yet somehow complete, both a symbol of home for many and the stage scenery for countless selfies. To celebrate a phrase fondly used by Edinburgh locals, Collective Matter has worked with artist Mick Peter to create a range of products in praise of folly. I worked with Collect
