I recently worked with the National Galleries of Scotland marketing team on two PR photography shoots promoting their Friends membership, Gallery of Stars and legacy giving programmes.
For the membership shoot, I photographed models in situations that bring the scheme to life, showing how Friends enjoy benefits like unlimited free entry to exhibitions, discounts in the gallery shops and cafes, and access to exclusive events. These images will be used across the Galleries' marketing materials to help explain the membership to potential new supporters.
The second shoot focused on the Galleries' fundraising initiatives. The Gallery of Stars programme invites supporters to adopt one of the 2,000 golden stars that decorate the stunning ceiling of the Great Hall at the Portrait Gallery on Queen Street. The legacy programme allows people to leave a gift in their will to help protect and care for works in the national collection for future generations. It was a lovely brief to work with, finding ways to visually tell the story of how people can connect with and support the Galleries beyond simply visiting.
Thanks as always to the National Galleries team for a great couple of shoots.
