I recently documented a fantastic project for The Royal British Legion and The Drive Project. It involved veterans working with artists Laura Aldridge and Laura Spring to create their own screen printed fabrics and ceramics.

The project, called On the Table, was designed to help the Armed Forces community explore creativity in a supportive environment. Participants included veterans, serving personnel and partners or carers. Together they crafted all the accoutrements of a table fit for a feast, from patterned tablecloths to hand made and beautifully glazed clay plates, bowls, goblets, vases and candlesticks.

The sessions encouraged confidence, self expression and connection. The finished work was showcased in an intimate dining experience at Assembly Roxy, a joyful celebration of community, creativity and the touching stories and reflections of those involved.

It was a privilege to capture such a meaningful project and to see the warmth and camaraderie in the room.
