I was delighted to work with the Edinburgh International Book Festival on Perambulations, part of their celebration of James Hogg’s Confessions of a Justified Sinner. My role was to provide stills alongside a film crew as they dramatised the story on Arthur’s Seat. It was a challenging shoot that started in the early hours and ended in gale-force winds at the summit, but the cast and crew were incredibly resilient. A brilliant project to be part of, marking the 200th anniversary of this landmark Scottish novel.

A person in 18th-century attire stands on a rocky hill, looking determined. The background is a cloudy sunrise, creating a dramatic mood.
A person in historical attire gazes upward with an expression of awe. The background is a dimly lit grassy hill under a cloudy sky.
Person in period costume gestures expressively outdoors, wearing a brown patterned coat and turban. Overcast sky and greenery in the background.
A person in period clothing gazes thoughtfully into the distance against a backdrop of hills and a cloudy sky, conveying a pensive mood.
Two men in historical attire struggle dramatically on a rocky hilltop, one in a black coat, the other in blue. Tension fills the cloudy sky.
