So Young By Douglas Maxwell: Production Photos

I had the pleasure of shooting these production photograhs of So Young by Douglas Maxwell for the Traverse marketing team. Directed by Gareth Nicholls, it’s a moving play about grief, friendship and what ties people together. Set in the summer of 2021, Milo invites his old friends Liane and Davie over for what they think will be a nostalgic evening, only to meet his new girlfriend Greta, who is much younger. The tensions that follow explore loss, middle age, memory and how different relationships evolve.

I love Douglas Maxwell’s writing, it's always so relatable, grounded and rich. So Young hit all those notes and it was a privilege to capture the show as part of the Traverse 2024 Fringe lineup.
