Show Trailer & Vox Pops: Nessie at Capital Theatres Studio

I’ve just finished editing the trailer for Nessie, the new Scottish musical by Capital Theatres and Pitlochry Festival Theatre. Thanks to the creative team for having me on this one.

Nessie is written, composed and directed beautifully by Shonagh Murray (director Beth Morton), with puppets designed by Ella Mackay. It tells the story of 11-year-old Mara, an aspiring biologist, who meets the legendary creature Nessa at Loch Ness. As the town of Bruachness gets swept up in “monster mania,” something much bigger is going on behind the scenes — friendships, bravery and environmental challenges all come alive through music and storytelling.

The show runs at The Studio, Edinburgh from 28 March to 5 April 2025. If you’re around, this one’s a treat for families, lovers of myth and puppet magic.
